Following in the Reynolds family tradition Preston was given the helm to his first boat at the age of 7. That's when he realized Lake Livin' was pretty much the only Livin'. Previously an instructor at the Inverted Wakeboard and Waterski school and a longtime familiar face around the Finger Lakes. He is even known to find a bass or a lake trout from time to time. Jack of all trades (master of none) on the water. He prides himself on having fun and enjoys passing on his passion of everything lake. You can find him still (when he is not at Seager Marine) showing his daughter, Jenna and son, Porter the ropes riding the "L" on Keuka Lake with wife Jo-Hannah at the wheel.
Sales Specialist / Fisherman/ Pontoons
Ted has been an avid fisherman and boater for over 50 years. He grew up in Auburn, NY and spent a lot of time on Owasco Lake and all the other Finger Lakes. He also chartered for a time on Lake Ontario. He now lives on Canandaigua Lake where he can continue his fishing and boating. He worked as an Environmental Engineer for the US Army Corps of Engineers for 33 years and has now started his second career with Seager Marine. Ted owns an Avalon pontoon boat which is set up for trout fishing and cruising as well. He can set you up with the best pontoon or fishing boat to meet your needs.
Sales Specialist - Marketing Coordinator
Growing up on the water, Robert was at the helm of his fathers Ski Nautique shortly after learning to walk. Many years later, you can still find him with a smile ear to ear as he drives, Wakeboards, or Wake Surfs up and down Canandaigua Lake. After many years of being a summer time Seager employee, Robert has been back full time for the past year sharing his passion for the water with customers all over the Finger Lakes.
As the new co-owner of Seager Marine, Peter brings over 25 years of business and leadership experience to his new role. Peter was born and raised in Canandaigua and he's happy to be back here working full time. He currently resides in Pittsford with his wife Molly and their two children, Nate and Julia. He's excited about this new chapter in his life and looks forward to continuing the legacy of Seager Marine.
Barbara brings to Seager Marine over 25 years of office management experience in a variety of businesses. After living in other parts of the country for the past 30 years, she is glad to be back home in beautiful Canandaigua. Barbara is sharp as a tack and will keeps things flowing around the business, accurately.
Randy's mechanical background began over 40 years ago. Since joining Seager Marine in 1977 he has acquired several certifications in marine products. Along with his everyday duties of being a technician, he is also the shop foreman overseeing the everyday work assigned to the shop. Randy's other duties are being in charge of our boat storage and its facilities. Known as "The Wrench" his professional attitude and positive work ethic helps gel our team together.
Growing up on Honeoye Lake, Frans boating compassion began at the age of 9 when he started racing boats. At sixteen he became a local marine employee. This work experience launched his pursuit of a career in marine mechanics. Following high school graduation Fran attended the Florida Marine Mechanics Institute where he graduated top in his class and was promptly recruited by Seager Marine. Frans areas of expertise continue to expand along with multiple product certifications. Known as the "Bass Man", Frans excellent skills with todays onboard computer systems along with his outstanding customer relations make him a key member of this team.
Technician / Outboard Specialist
Geoff grew up in Geneva NY , next to a marina and had his first boat when he was 10 years old. His 33 years of professional experience, formal training and continuing education keep Geoff current in his field. He is highly skilled in his area of expertise with various outboard and inboard/outboard manufacturers. Geoff is definitely one of our veteran marine technicians with excellent customer relation skills and is always ready to work on a new product.
Jim is our rigger at Seager Marine for almost 30 years. From setting up a complete fishing rig to installing fender locks Jim has the experience and knowledge to get it done right for you. He is also involved with our hoists and dock sales and set up for our customers. His pride shows whenever a new boat leaves our facility making him a key player for our team.

As the newest technician Mike's skills are rapidly growing in the Seager Marine work environment. Mike's credentials include 6 years of marine experience and graduation from the Marine Mechanics Institute. He continues to be eager to learn, hard working and a team player. His work ethic and positive attitude benefit not only Seager Marine but also our customers
Service Writer / Parts Manager
Doug has over 16 years experience in the Marine industry and is the Service writer and also works in the Parts department. Doug is directly involved with our customers and does a superb job from writing up their issues on work orders or selling them the over the counter parts they need. He is always willing to take time with our customers to explain work that was performed on their product. Doug is always ready to bring in new customers and takes pride in his work.
